Our Program
OUR APROACH
Sister of Code educational program is developed with an aim to introduce students to the principles of coding by growing their confidence step by step: from zero to a level when students are able to develop their own websites.
We believe technology skills should not be a privilege, but an equal opportunity.
Our program applies a project-based approach and focuses on creativity, teamwork and learning from practice allows students to understand how to apply coding skills to solve real problems and see real results.
It is not just about coding, it is about how to be creative, confident and supportive.
The program duration is 18 weeks and it consists of 3 modules.
Module 1
Module 1 is based on Code.Org resources and introduces students to the principles of coding and algorithms. Students learn visual coding by playing educational games.
Module 2
Module 2 is using Scratch, that helps students to learn creative thinking and working collaboratively. During this module students create their own computer games and present in the teams.
Module 3
During the Module 3 program, students learn HTML and CSS programming, as well basics of web development while working on their own websites with WIX website builder.
