Sisters of Code is excited to announce our keynote speaker for the upcoming Sisters of Code Online session Mrs. Kimsrung Lov. This online event will take place on the Sisters of Code Facebook page as a Live stream. So join us on July 3, 2021 at 4 pm!
This time we will meet our local female leader in software development and a full-stack web application development - Mrs. Kimsrung Lov.
Mrs.Lov received a government scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the RUPP - Royal University of Phnom Penh, as well as took part in an exchange program in IT Engineering from Bowdoin College (United States).
She began her career at YOOLK, a well-established and reputable software development firm best known in Cambodia for implementing the local Yellow Pages. She continued her career at BiKay, where she led the creation of Smart Axiata - the first local music streaming platform Smart Music.
Among her freelance ventures, she worked on Bookmebus.com, a national online transportation booking system, which was one of the first successful local startups. She also worked in the Education sector, where she trained over 40 girls as part of USAID Cambodia Development Innovations funded Sisters of Code program.
Currently, she works at AMK MFI as a Tech Lead for the Tonle Sap Project, where she is responsible for team management, #API growth, and infrastructure management.
