Are you a female student in Siem Reap ready to strengthen your digital skills and prepare for the future of work? Sisters of Code is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Employment Skills Program (ESP) 2026 in Siem Reap. This is a 100% free digital skills training program designed specifically for female university and TVET students, as well as recent graduates.
Through partnerships with the USEA Career Center and JWOC (Journeys Within Our Community), Sisters of Code is bringing high-quality digital training directly to Siem Reap at no cost for selected participants.

About the Program
The Employment Skills Program (ESP) was launched in 2024 by Sisters of Code, with the generous support of the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED). The program aims to equip young women in Cambodia with essential digital and technical skills to improve their career opportunities in the modern economy.
For 2026, the program offers two free specialized courses:
Digital Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing
Website Development and UX/UI Design
Digital Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing Course
Program Overview
This 16-week intensive course is designed to develop entrepreneurial thinking and help students transform ideas into practical business solutions.
Participants will learn through the Cisco Networking Academy (NetAcad) platform, earn international certificates, and work in teams to develop and pitch real business ideas. Students are expected to bring a business idea that they are willing to develop collaboratively throughout the course.
Class Schedule
The course runs for 15 weeks, including:
12 weeks of in-person training
1 week of field visit and self-study
1 week of pitch rehearsal and feedback
1 final week of business presentations
Classes are held every Sunday at JWOC (Journeys Within Our Community) in Siem Reap, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Cambodian female currently enrolled in a university (Year 3–4 preferred) or TVET institution, or a recent graduate residing in Siem Reap
Strong PC skills (typing, internet use, email communication)
Good English proficiency
Having personal laptop/PC
Strong interest in entrepreneurship and ability to attend Sunday classes
What You Will Gain?

By the end of the program, participants will receive:
Official certificates from IT Academy STEP Cambodia and Cisco Networking Academy
Internship and job readiness guidance
Entrepreneurship foundations (vision building, goal setting, mindset development)
Opportunity analysis and business idea evaluation skills
Digital skills in marketing, content creation, websites, and online advertising
Project planning and execution skills
Website Development and UX/UI Design Course
Program Overview
This 14-week intensive course equips participants with practical skills in website development and UX/UI design.
The program prepares students for careers as front-end developers, UX/UI designers, or freelancers. It also includes training on portfolio building, CV writing, and job application skills.
Class Schedule
The course runs for 14 weeks, including:
13 weeks of in-person training
1 week for final project presentation
Classes are held every Sunday at USEA Career Center in Siem Reap from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Cambodian female currently enrolled in a university (Year 3–4 preferred) or TVET institution, or a recent graduate residing in Siem Reap
Strong PC skills (typing, internet use, email communication)

Strong interest in web development, design, or related technical fields
What You Will Gain?

By the end of the program, participants will receive:
Official certificate of completion from IT Academy STEP Cambodia
Job and internship preparation support
Ability to build responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
Experience with tools such as Figma, Canva, and Framer
Practical programming and debugging skills
Team collaboration using Agile, Scrum, Git, and GitHub
Stronger problem-solving and critical thinking skills through hands-on projects
