Sisters of Code Concludes Free Workshop on “AI Tools for Learning and Productivity”

On 3 October 2026, Sisters of Code successfully hosted a free public workshop titled “AI Tools for Learning and Productivity” at IT Academy STEP Cambodia (Olympic Branch). This initiative was made possible through the generous support of the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED).
Recognizing the rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Sisters of Code identified a crucial need to empower students and professionals with practical AI skills—helping them streamline learning and elevate daily productivity, particularly for those navigating AI tools for the first time.

Expert Facilitation & Active Engagement

The session was joined by Ms. HENG Sovanmonynuth, who is curently serving as the Innovation Program Coordinator at the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT).
Ms. Sovanmonynuth combines a strong background in Science and Education with expertise in AI Convergence and Quantum Computing.
The workshop brought 46 enthusiastic participants, with women representing 60% of the cohort.
Mastering Effective Prompting
To open the session, participants explored the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and how modern AI applications can improve academic and professional efficiency. Ms. Sovanmonynuth also introduced the concept of effective prompting and explained what makes a prompt clear and effective.
“An effective prompt provides AI with clear context, a defined task, necessary constraints, and a specified output format.”
Attendees were introduced to the CTCF Framework (Context, Task, Constraints, and Format)—a structured formula designed to optimize prompt clarity and generate precise, high-quality responses.
Key AI Tools for Academic and Workplace Efficiency
The workshop highlighted three core AI platforms, demonstrating how each addresses distinct learning and operational needs:
ChatGPT: A versatile assistant for general inquiries, rapid problem-solving, and everyday tasks.
Claude AI: An ideal tool for structuring presentation content, analytical writing, and in-depth research.
Gemini Notebook (NotebookLM): A specialized platform for interactive learning, document synthesis, and case study analysis.
To reinforce learning, the trainer conducted live demonstrations on crafting prompts using the CTCF framework, proving how structured inputs consistently yield superior outcomes.
Practicing Responsible AI Integration
Beyond technical execution, the session emphasized digital safety, privacy, and critical evaluation. Drawing from real-world insights, the trainer outlined key guidelines for responsible AI adoption:
Verify Source Credibility: Exercise healthy skepticism toward unverified online claims by cross-checking information against reputable, trusted sources.
Practice Digital Vigilance: Thoroughly inspect content and links before clicking or sharing them across digital platforms.
Safeguard Personal Data: Protect personal privacy by never uploading sensitive information—such as national ID cards, banking credentials, or confidential documents—into AI chatbots.

96% expressed being satisfied or very satisfied with the overall event.
84% reported a substantial improvement in their understanding of practical AI tools.
78% gained strong confidence in applying AI tools to enhance their daily learning and work routines.
Concluding Remarks and Appreciation
The workshop concluded on an inspiring note. Sisters of Code extends our sincere gratitude to Ms. Heng Sovanmonynth for her dedication and key contributions to coordinating such a impactful session.
To mark the close of the event, Mrs. CHIN Dalin, Project Leader for Sisters of Code, presented a certificate of appreciation to Ms. HENG Sovanmonynuth on behalf of the team.
