Sisters of Code is hosting a FREE workshop on the timely and critical topic of “Online Safety for All” on Saturday, 1st November 2025, at IT Academy STEP Cambodia, Olympic branch. The workshop is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) and supported by the Liechtenstein Development Service (LED) and IT Academy STEP Cambodia.


About the Workshop

The "Online Safety for All" Workshop offers a hands-on introduction to staying safe online. Designed for beginners, it focuses on real-life examples that are easy to understand and apply. Participants will learn how to identify common online risks, set up privacy protections, respond to issues like cyberbullying and scams, and safeguard their mental well-being in today’s fast-evolving digital world.


What Makes this Workshop Special

  • This workshop will feature two experienced professionals in the field from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications: Mr. Chan Pheakdey, Deputy Director of the Department of ICT Industry and Ms. Phen Phallideth, Cybersecurity Specialist.

  • This workshop will explore a range of critical topics, including:

    • Overview of Online Threats in Cambodia

    • What is Online Safety and Why It Matters

    • How to Spot and Avoid Online Scams

    • Managing Passwords and Protecting Your Devices

    • Social Media Privacy: What You Should Know

    • Supporting Children and Youth Online

    • Where to Get Help When Something Goes Wrong
