Are you interested in improving your digital skills and learning how to code, but unsure where to begin? We are excited to announce that applications for Sisters of Code Clubs 2026 are now officially open to female students across Cambodia.

Sisters of Code provides a safe and supportive environment for girls to learn coding and technology for free.

Program Overview

Sisters of Code Clubs is a FREE 18-week digital skills and coding training program for girls aged 10–18 years old. Through interactive and beginner-friendly lessons, female students will explore different areas of technology while developing problem-solving, creativity, teamwork, and confidence.


Beyond technical learning, the program also aims to create a welcoming space where girls feel encouraged to learn, experiment, ask questions, and grow together as future creators in technology.


Course Curriculum

Throughout the 18-week program, students will explore four core learning modules:


Module 1: Introduction to Cybersecurity and Basic Coding with Code.org

  • Learn the basic principles of cybersecurity and online safety

  • Understand algorithms and how coding works

  • Practice identifying and fixing errors through debugging activities

  • Collaborate with classmates to create animated stories and simple projects

  • Explore creative coding through games, animations, and storytelling


Module 2: Game Development with Scratch

  • Understand the basics of Scratch and its interface

  • Learn foundational concepts of game development

  • Use sprites, motion, and animation to build interactive projects

  • Strengthen creativity through hands-on project design

  • Create simple games and interactive stories


Module 3: Web Development with HTML/CSS and Wix

  • Learn how websites are created using HTML and CSS

  • Build simple and functional websites

  • Explore website structure and design principles

  • Create different types of websites such as portfolio, restaurant, or business websites

  • Gain introductory knowledge in web development and digital design


Module 4: Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and its real-world applications

  • Explore basic AI concepts and tools

  • Understand how AI is used in everyday life

  • Discuss opportunities and ethical considerations of AI technologies


Eligibility Requirements

To apply for Sisters of Code Clubs 2026, applicants must:

  • Be a Cambodian female student aged between 10 and 18 years old

  • Own a laptop for both classroom learning and home practice

  • Have basic English reading skills

  • Demonstrate an interest in coding and technology

  • Be committed to attending weekend classes for the full 18-week program

Students from across Cambodia are welcome to join our online classes remotely from home.

  • Group 4: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

  • Group 5: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Group 3: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Applicants are asked to select one schedule that best matches their availability and remain committed to attending that session throughout the full program period, from late June to November 2026.


What will you gain from joining the clubs?

By the end of the program, students will:

  • Develop foundational coding and digital skills using platforms such as Code.org, Scratch, HTML/CSS, and WIX

  • Gain introductory exposure to Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications

  • Build confidence in learning and using technology

  • Receive a certificate of completion from Sisters of Code

  • Become eligible to apply for future Sisters of Code leadership and advanced learning opportunities, including the Sisters of Code Ambassadors Program


How to Apply

Interested applicants must complete the online application form before the application deadline. Following the initial screening process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.


Please note that only 10-15 students will be selected for each club group.


Important Dates

  • Application Open: May 12, 2026

  • Application Close: May 28, 2026

  • Semi-final Results: June 5, 2026

  • Interview Round: June 13–14, 2026

  • Final Results: June 17, 2026

  • Program Start: June 27, 2026

  • Program End: November 2, 2026
