Many Cambodian students, especially female students, are interested in pursuing higher education in technology but may not always have access to information about scholarship opportunities or know how to prepare for the application process.
To help bridge this information gap, Sisters of Code is excited to launch the Tech Scholarship Webinar Series. The first session, "Students’ Journey in the Techo Digital Talent Scholarship," is a free online webinar featuring current scholars of the Techo Digital Talent Scholarship—a scholarship program supported by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications that provides Grade 12 students with opportunities to pursue higher education in digital and technology-related fields.
Featured Speakers
The webinar will feature two female scholars of the Techo Digital Talent Scholarship:
Ms. MET Sokhcheat – A junior majoring in Cybersecurity at the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT), awarded the Techo Digital Talent Scholarship in 2023.
Ms. CHEA Sievyiek – A junior majoring in Computer Science at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP), awarded the Techo Digital Talent Scholarship in 2023.
They will share their scholarship journeys, application experiences, practical preparation tips, and insights into pursuing a career in the technology field.
