Sisters of Code and EBC Organization Sign MOU to Expand Access to Digital Education

On July 9, 2026, Sisters of Code officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Educational Broadcasting Cambodia (EBC) Organization to expand access to quality digital education for female students across Cambodia.
The partnership focuses on jointly developing digital and coding educational content, establishing a learning management system (LMS) on EBC's platforms, and expanding learning opportunities for Sisters of Code female students at Community Tech Centers in Takeo Province and beyond. This initiative is supported through the funding of the Capacity Building Research and Development (CBRD) program of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications.
The MOU was signed by Mr. Se Mouthycheat, President of EBC Organization, and Mrs. Natalja Rodionova, Founder of Sisters of Code and Managing Director of IT Academy STEP Cambodia Institute, in the presence of representatives from both organizations.
This collaboration marks an important milestone in creating a more innovative, inclusive, and accessible learning ecosystem for Cambodian students, particularly those living outside Phnom Penh. Through EBC's digital learning platforms, hundreds of Sisters of Code students will be able to access high-quality coding and digital skills lessons anytime and anywhere, making learning more flexible and accessible.
During the meeting, Mr. Se Mouthycheat highlighted EBC's ongoing efforts to make education more accessible. Thousands of educational videos are already available on EBC's online platforms, allowing learners across Cambodia to study independently at their own pace. This approach responds to the growing demand for online and self-directed learning while helping equip Cambodian youth with the digital skills needed for the future workforce.
Mrs. Natalja Rodionova expressed her sincere appreciation to Mr. Se Mouthycheat and the EBC team for their dedication to producing educational content that benefits Cambodian students nationwide. She also thanked EBC for its commitment to supporting Sisters of Code's mission of empowering girls with digital and coding skills.
Since its establishment, Sisters of Code has remained committed to bridging the gender gap in digital skills by providing free digital education for girls in a safe and supportive learning environment. Through this partnership with EBC Organization, Sisters of Code is taking another significant step forward by making its learning opportunities more inclusive, innovative, and accessible to students regardless of where they live.
