At Sisters of Code, we believe that empowering young women with education is a powerful way to change lives and build brighter futures. Our mission wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support we receive from our partners, and we are deeply grateful for the trust and commitment of LED - Liechtenstein Development Service.
Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming LED representatives to Phnom Penh. It was a privilege to introduce them to our community and showcase the impact of their support on our students’ lives. We also engaged in open and meaningful discussions with LED about the program's milestones, challenges, and potential paths forward.
Thanks to the support Sisters of Code is receiving from LED, we are achieving remarkable things:
Providing access to quality education: Through Sisters of Code, girls are gaining essential skills that open doors to the tech industry with free-of-charge training programs.
Creating future employment pathways: By bridging the gender gap in STEM, we’re helping young women access better career opportunities.
Inspiring personal growth: Beyond technical skills, students are building resilience, confidence, and leadership abilities.
During their visit, LED met some of our amazing students who shared their personal journeys in the Sisters of Code program. From mastering coding skills to building confidence in their abilities, these young women are rewriting the narrative for girls in technology in Cambodia. Seeing their passion and hearing their stories was a powerful reminder of why this work matters so much.
This partnership exemplifies the power of collaboration. LED’s support has been a cornerstone of our journey, enabling us to reach more girls and make a lasting difference in their lives. We are incredibly thankful to LED for their unwavering support, belief in our mission, and active involvement in shaping the future of girls in Cambodia.
