The event began with a congratulatory speech from Mrs. Natalja Rodionova, Director of Sisters of Code and Managing Director of IT Academy STEP Cambodia. She praised the 40 graduates from both courses for their commitment to building digital skills.

Highlighting the rapid pace of digital transformation in Cambodia, Mrs. Natalja stressed that it is more important than ever for young women to step up, keep learning, and pursue opportunities in the digital field. She encouraged the students to see this graduation not just as the end of one chapter, but as the start of an exciting new journey, and reminded that Sisters of Code will always be a supportive space for them to grow their confidence and skills. Her words filled the room with excitement and hope for the future.

According to the final survey results shared by Ms. Song Lauren, Project Manager at Sisters of Code, 95% of students from the Digital Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing course would certainly recommend the program to other female students. Similarly, Ms. Mab My, also a Project Manager at Sisters of Code, shared that 100% of students from the Website Development and UX/UI Design course gained valuable skills and confidence and would encourage others to take the course.

This success would not have been possible without the dedication of our trainers, whose guidance, encouragement, and expertise have inspired students to stay committed and achieve their best.

It should be noted that both courses require students to work on group projects, with the goal of equipping them with practical skills and helping them build their own work portfolios. In the Digital Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing course, students were divided into six groups, each working on a different business project. Meanwhile, students in the Website Development and UX/UI Design course were split into five groups, each creating a unique website project.

This was actually her third attempt to get in, but she says it was well worth the effort. She has gained not only technical skills but also communication and leadership skills. "I used to tremble while speaking, but after the training, I can speak with confidence," she said.

The graduation ceremony was also joined by our valued guests, Ms. May Sokuntheary, Advisor at GIZ Cambodia, and Mr. Hen Moeury, Partnership Manager for People Operations at Digital Divide Data Cambodia. They took the stage to deliver congratulatory messages and share potential program opportunities for students to pursue in the future.

Sisters of Code is delighted to bring together students, trainers, and professionals to celebrate this milestone moment as students conclude their course and close this chapter of their learning journey.

To build on this special moment, Sisters of Code introduced a newly designed awards presentation to the program—something we didn’t have last year. Recognizing the Top 5 Outstanding students from each class with tote bags and study materials, along with selecting the Best Group Project in each course, added an extra layer of celebration for the students’ hard work and achievements.

Sisters of Code awarded certificates to all 40 graduates, recognizing their dedication and growth throughout the program. Furthermore, students from the Digital Entrepreneurship and Digital Marketing course received two certificates: one from Sisters of Code and IT Academy STEP Cambodia, and another from Cisco Networking Academy.
