Sisters of Code is so excited to announce our celebration for the International Girls in ICT Day 2022 with the theme, “Access and Safety”. This year Sisters of Code will be celebrating International Girls in ICT Day physically on 30 April at IT Academy STEP Cambodia.
International Girls in ICT Day, established by ITU (The International Telecommunication Union is a specialised agency of the United Nations) and celebrated in over 150 countries around the world, celebrates girls and young women involved in IT. This year we will spotlight two career paths: ICT Teacher and Web Developer. Our goal is to encourage girls and young women to pursue tech education and inspire them to work in the tech industry.
Attending this event students will:
Meet and have a career consultant with the role model experts of women in Tech to get inspired and learn about the career choice they made.
Build a network of likeminded people girls who have the same passion for Tech
Hand on fun activities about their career choice
