On April 24, 2025, Sisters of Code had the privilege of visiting the newly established Community Tech Centers (CTCs) in Takeo Province. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Department of ICT Policy of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) for inviting us to be a part of this special visit.

Sisters of Code team joined MPTC to visit Community Tech Center in Prey Kabbas High School
At Prey Kabbas High School

During our trip, we had the opportunity to tour six CTCs located in six different schools: Bunrany Hun Sen Bati High School, Hun Sen 1 Mithona High School, Prey Kabbas High School, Phnom Chiso High School, Ang Roka High School, and Sok An Tram Khnol High School.

The experience was truly inspiring as we explored the various facilities, including the public hall, post office, training center, and, most notably, the computer labs equipped with modern technology in each center. The thoughtful approach reflects MPTC's commitment to providing the necessary tools for effective learning and community growth. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved and look forward to the potential impact these centers will have on students and local residents alike.

In the meantime, we are excited to explore ways we can collaborate with these centers to further enhance the learning environment, especially in the coding skills development. At Sisters of Code, we believe in the power of coding to unlock creativity, foster critical thinking, and create new opportunities for young people.
